2. Choose between the two subsequent options to perform the PC reset:
Just Remove my filesYou can select this option if you want to perform a quick format (overwrite files on the drive)
on all your local drive(s). This is advisable if the system is to be retained.
NOTE: Your data is still recoverable using 3rd party tools if you choose this method of reset
Remove files and clean the driveChoose this option if you are planning to give this PC to someone else or repurpose
it and you want to make sure that all personal data is removed from the system. Depending on the type, size of disk(s)
and configuration of the system, the process can take from an hour to a few hours. Keep in mind that the first option is
relatively quicker than the second option but less secure.
3. After selecting the type of reset, the system will show a summary stating what will be removed from the PC. Review the
information on the screen and click on Reset to proceed further.
