4. Click on Check option as highlighted in the below image.
Your system should now start checking for any issues with the current volume. It will then attempt to repair issues it finds.

● The second option is to optimize the drive. To perform an optimization, you need to follow the same steps but select the
Optimize option instead.
1. Open File Explorer. Click This PC on left most column.
2. Right-click on any Volume (such as C:).
3. Click on the Tools tab.
4. Click on the Optimize option as highlighted in Figuthe above image.
5. For each volume (such as C:, D:), select the volume and click Optimize as highlighted in the below image.
Your system should now automatically start defragmenting and optimizing the drives. Depending on the type and hardware
of your drive and size of the volume, it can take from a few seconds to a few minutes.
