Following are the possible reasons for failure in launching Dell Data Assistant on the old PC:
● Failed to initiate the local database for Dell Data Assistant
This can happen if the local database is created with non-Admin windows user and now is being accessed by using an Admin
user on the PC or Dell Data Assistant failed to create a local database due to an existing outdated installation of Dell Data

2. Once the DDA folder is deleted, restart your old PC and try launching Dell Data Assistant with Admin rights/Admin
windows user account. It will create the database with proper permissions.
3. Try to launch Dell Data Assistant again, and the issue should be resolved.
