4. The next step you can try is to use a command called dism to clean and repair the Windows image. You can attempt either a
basic scan or an advanced scan.
a. Open Command Prompt as an Administrator.
b. Type dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth.
c. If that doesn't work, type dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth for a more advanced scan and repair.
This will take a bit longer.
Your output should look appear as shown in the following images based on type of scan done. After the scan is complete,
restart the system and attempt to reset your PC again.

5. If all the methods mentioned above fail to provide a resolution to the issue, you can attempt to create an external recovery
media to use Windows Reset or use existing Windows installation media to perform Windows Reset. To do so, you can follow
the steps mentioned in Create a recovery drive to create an external recovery media based on your Windows version and you
can refer to Recovery options in Windows 10 to find more information about how to reset your PC.
Manual Reboot
About this task
When Dell Data Assistant has failed to automatically reboot the old PC for the Reset process, you are required to perform a
manual reboot for the erase process to complete.
When Dell Data Assistant has failed to automatically reboot the PC, it will show the error screen shown below. You can follow
the steps below to perform a manual reboot of the PC.
