4. Click Restart Now to restart your PC for the changes to take place.
Device discovery and pre-checks
Before the old and the new PCs are linked for migration, a series of checks or validations are done to assess the readiness of
the PCs. The checks are known as pre-checks or prerequisites. Pre-checks that are run on both the old and the new PCs are:
● Locale check
● Logged-in user check
● Network check
● Operating system check
● Application check
● Battery check
NOTE: The same set of pre-checks are run on both the new PC and the old PC before proceeding with the migration.
