What’s new in Dell Command | Update Version 3.1.3
Dell Command | Update provides the following features and enhancements in this release:
● Support for the Windows operating system when the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) are enabled.
● Improvements on the self-update process.
● Fixed an issue where dcu-cli.exe does not run in a PowerShell remote interactive session.
Known issues
● Custom catalogs are not supported when Dell Command | Update runs on systems that are enabled with Federal Information
Processing Standards (FIPS).
● The Advanced Driver Restore feature is not supported on systems that are enabled with FIPS.
● BIOS does not support double quote " character from Settings -> System Password.
● The Custom Proxy settings (Settings -> General -> Internet Proxy) are required while participating in the Dell Command
| Update Improvement Program, the system uses a web proxy that requires authentication.
● Dell Command | Update displays This system is up-to-date message, if a custom catalog (Settings -> General ->
Update Source Location) is not found or displays an error.
● When Dell Command | Update GUI is launched in administrative mode, a warning message is displayed while applying the
updates.
