Power Alerts
Dell Command | Power Manager displays an alert for the following docking station, battery, and power adapter conditions:

Alert What Should I Do?
The battery currently attached to your system cannot supply
enough power to your docking station for it to operate
normally.
Attach a supported power adapter to the docking station.
Your notebook does not recognize the attached battery. Attach a supported battery.
Your notebook does not support the attached battery slice. Attach a supported battery.
Your notebook does not support the attached batteries. Attach supported batteries.
Your battery is able to charge normally. However, you may
begin to notice a reduced operating time because your long-
term battery life is decreasing.
