PowerShell

Windows PowerShell is a task automation and configuration management framework from Microsoft.

PowerShell consists of a command-line shell and associated scripting language built on the .NET

Framework. PowerShell provides full access to COM and WMI, enabling administrators to perform

administrative tasks such as configuration and monitoring on both local and remote systems running the

Windows operating system using the services of Command | Monitor.

Administrators can write custom PowerShell scripts (files suffixed by .ps1) that connect to the DCIM

namespace and allows monitoring custom actions on the system.
