The Dell Command | Intel vPro Out Of Band
Application
The Dell Command | Intel vPro Out of Band application provides an out-of-band management solution through a stand-alone
application on the system running Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center. The application allows you remotely to
manage client systems regardless of the system power or operating state.
You can use the Dell Command | Intel vPro Out of Band application to perform the following tasks:
Remote ProvisioningConfigure your environment to allow you to easily perform remote AMT provisioning of client
systems.
USB ProvisioningProvision and setup Intel AMT enabled client systems.
IndicationsRemotely monitor, diagnose, and manage clients using Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) filters.
Client ConfigurationConfigure client system settings:
Power ProfileConfigure and apply the preferred power policy.
Boot OrderConfigure or change the boot order.
BIOS SettingsConfigure and update the BIOS settings
BIOS PasswordsClear, set, or specify the length of your Administrator and System passwords.
OperationsPerform remote operations:
KVM ConnectSet up and run KVM sessions.

Before running the Dell Command | Intel vPro Out of Band application:
For In-Band shutdown to work correctly, the system running Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center must
have Windows PowerShell version 2.0 or greater installed, and WinRM configured. For more information about configuring
WinRM, see Configuring WinRM on Client Systems.
