● After the setup password has been set in XPS 9300, Dell Precision 7700, and Dell Precision 7500 series platforms, these
platforms does not allow you to set the system password.
● If you run SCE in Windows 7 operating system, Program Compatibility Assistant error is displayed periodically.
On Program Compatibility Assistant window, click This program that is installed correctly and then continue with the
next steps.
● The performance of Dell Command | Configure 4.3 or later in a Linux operating system is slower on the systems that are
running on kernel versions 4.15 or later.
● Command line reference may have alignment issues with Dell Command Configure 4.3.1 or later versions. Some of the BIOS
settings are displayed with spaces and results in failure during configuration.
Use double quotes for the BIOS settings where spaces are displayed. Example: cctk --"bios<>setting<>name" or
cctk --"bios<>setting<>name"=valuename
