● The experience where the user interface application takes few seconds to exit if closed immediately after launch issue is
resolved. Once you launch the user interface application and close it immediately, the closure is delayed by few seconds. This
happens for the first time and is not observed during the next cycle onwards issue is resolved.
● Dell Command | Configure stops responding on a German version of the Windows operating system issue is resolved.
● Validating the feature for nonenum types issue is resolved.
● Issues that are observed on the platforms where system and setup passwords are not supported is resolved.
● Dell Command | Configure SCE stops responding once you enter " in any of the following fields: Passwords, Asset, or
PropOwntag issue is resolved.
● Dell Command | Configure stops responding on 19H1 operating system is resolved.
● Import .ini displays an 146 error code with KeyboardBacklightColor feature on nonsupported system, this issue is resolved.
● Removing HAPI install from WinPE scripts.

NOTE: No escape sequence is required in user interface for text field features.
Known Issues
Issue: Unable to use Dell Command | Configure after reinstallation/upgrade.
Description: Dell command | Configure may not work after reinstallation/upgrade on Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 because the dcdbus
module may not be loaded during reinstallation.
Load the module by running the following command:
insmod <filename>
Issue: Windows 7 does not recognize the digital signature validity.
Description: If the system is not connected to internet, Windows 7 does not recognize the digital signature validity of Dell
Command | Configure installation file.
Resolution: Connect the system to the internet, and validate the digital signature.
Issue: Dell Command | Configure does not support infile or outfile options in the .ini file.
Issue: Dell Command | Configure supports only single-byte characters for an asset set operation.
Resolution: If the user has a different locale, change the keyboard layout to English before using the asset option.
Issue: TPM-related tokens can be modified independently.
Description: Dell Command | Configure does not control the dependencies among the various TPM PPI options. For example, it
is possible to change the TPM PPI ACPI option through Dell Command | Configure even when TPM is not On.
NOTE: There is no negative impact due to this on the BIOS.
Issue: Dependent options are not working as configured in UEFI mode for Legacy Option ROM and Secure Boot.
Description:
● Dell Command | Configure allows enabling Legacy Option ROM when Secure Boot is On. If the Secure Boot is Off, then the
Dell Command | Configure does not allow you to enable the Legacy Option ROM configuration.
● Dell Command | Configure allows disabling Legacy Option ROM when Boot mode is Legacy. If the Boot Mode is not Legacy,
then the Dell Command | Configure does not allow you to disable the Legacy Option ROM.
● Dell Command | Configure allows enabling Secure Boot when Legacy option ROM is enabled and boot mode is UEFI. If the
Legacy option ROM is disabled and boot mode is Legacy, then the Dell Command | Configure disables the Secure Boot.
● Dell Command | Configure does not allow enumerating Secure Boot when it is disabled. If the Secure Boot is enabled, then
the boot options can be enumerated.
NOTE: There is no negative impact due to this on the BIOS. This issue is addressed in the upcoming BIOS versions.
Issue: Blinkpsu1led and Blinkpsu2led is missing in the .ini file or SCE.
