Known issues ● Dell command | Configure may not work after reinstallation/upgrade on Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 because the dcdbus module may not be loaded during reinstallation. Load the module by running the following command: insmod ● Windows 7 does not recognize the digital signature validity. The experience where a local package takes few seconds to load for the first time issue has been resolved. Once you launch the user interface application for the first time, the local system package takes few seconds to load. As a result of that, the application takes few seconds to display the data grid.
Description: Blinkpsu1led and Blinkpsu2led are not be present in the .ini file or SCE as they are enable-only tokens and they are active only for few seconds. These tokens cannot be modified using user interface. Issue: advsm option displays the status as Other Description: If any of the fans are not working, the advsm option displays the status as Other. Issue: Advance Battery Charge and Peak Shift Charge options are displayed Disable.
4 Limitations ● Dell Command | Configure for Linux works only on the SMM Enabled (Security Mitigation) environments, if the kernel version is 4.15 or later. Otherwise, SMM Enabled (Security Mitigation) environment must be disabled or turned off. ● As per the security restriction, Dell Command | Configure does not allow to set specific values, though they are supported on the platform by displaying + sign in the feature help text.
5 Installation, upgrade, and uninstallation instructions For information about installation, uninstallation, and upgrade of Dell Command | Configure, see the Dell Command | Configure Installation Guide. The Dell Command | Configure packages that are released for Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 must be installed on Ubuntu server or desktop 18.04. Following are the installation packages: ● command_configure_4.4.0-.ubuntu16_amd64.deb ● srvadmin-hapi_9.3.0.
