Reference Guide
--cpusnoop
Valid Argument early, home, clusterondie, opportunistic, nosnoop
Description
Configures the CPU snoop mode.
• early — Enables early snoop mode. Use this mode for latency-sensitive applications that do
not require high remote bandwidth.
• home — Enables home snoop mode. Use this mode for applications that require high memory
bandwidth.
• clusterondie — Enables cluster on die mode. Dell recommends this mode for NUMA-
optimized applications to achieve lowest local memory latency and highest local memory
bandwidth.
• opportunistic — Enables opportunistic snoop mode. Directory with Opportunistic Snoop
Broadcast (OSB) offers a good balance of latency and bandwidth.
• nosnoop — Enables no snoop mode.
