Upgrading Dell Command | Congure on systems
running Linux
For minor upgrades like upgrading Dell Command | Congure (formerly Dell Client Conguration Toolkit):
1. From dell.com/support, download the command_congure-linux-3.2.0-<build number>.tar.gz le and save it on your system.
2. Untar the le using the following command: tar -zxvf command_configure-linux-3.2.0-<build
number>.tar.gz.
3. Upgrade the version of Dell Command | Congure on the system.
NOTE: Uninstalling and upgrading Dell Command | Congure on systems running supported Linux operating systems
leaves empty les and folders on the system. The les and folders do not have any functional impact.

To upgrade Dell Command | Congure (formerly Dell Client Conguration Toolkit) on RHEL 7 systems using RPMs, untar the le, and
run the commands in the following order:
1. rpm -Uvh --nodeps srvadmin-hapi-8.2.0-1650.7979.el7.x86_64.rpm
2. rpm -Uvh command_configure-linux-3.2.0-<build number>.el7.x86_64.rpm
Upgrading Dell Command | Congure on systems running Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6
To upgrade Dell Command | Congure (formerly Dell Client Conguration Toolkit) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 systems using
RPMs, untar the le, and run the commands in the following order:
1. rpm -Uvh --nodeps srvadmin-hapi-8.2.0-1650.7979.el6.x86_64.rpm
2. rpm -Uvh command_configure-linux-3.2.0-<build number>.el6.x86_64.rpm
Upgrading Dell Command | Congure on systems running Ubuntu
Desktop
To upgrade Dell Command | Congure on systems running Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 using a Deb package,
1. From dell.com/support, download the command_congure-linux-3.2.0-<build number>.tar.gz.
2. Untar the le using the following command:
tar -zxvf command_configure-linux-3.2.0-<build number>.tar.gz
