Issue 29:
On some of the platforms that support Advanced System Management, temperature
probe of Memory sensor 2 is giving the present status as Non Critical instead of
normal state. This issue will be addressed in the upcoming BIOS version.
Issue 30:
On some of the platforms that support Advanced System Management, setting non-
critical upper threshold values for cooling device indicates that the action failed in the
command line; however, setting the same will be successful.
GUI
Issue 1:
Description: On launching Command Configure GUI from OptiPlex 990 and Latitude
D630 (without administrator privileges), the Command Configure GUI screen takes
some time to appear. This does not hamper the system resources and Command
Configure will be functional.
Issue 2:
Description: On Dell Precision workstation M4400, the bootorder option may not
display the correct number of boot devices.
Issue 3:
Description: Command Configure GUI supports only printable characters for its text-
entry fields. If the BIOS has non- printable characters, the GUI may fail to load and
display the following error message: Unexpected Error at System.xml.
Resolution: Make sure that BIOS options like asset and propowntag values do not
contain non-printable characters.
