Introduction
Dell Command | Congure (Command | Congure) is a packaged software application that provides conguration capability to
business client platforms. This product consists of a Command Line Interface (CLI) and Graphical User Interface (GUI) to congure
various Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) features. You can use Command | Congure on Microsoft Windows Preinstallation
Environment (Windows PE), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 operating systems, and Red Hat Enterprise
Linux environments.
What’s new in this release
The new features for this release include:
Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 operating system.
Support for Advanced System Management (ASM) 2.0 for setting the non-critical upper threshold values for cooling probes.
Support for additional values medium_high and medium_low for conguring the fan speed using the --fanspeed option.
Support for conguring the camera available at the back of the system. See, --backcamera.
Support for conguring the behavior of the dual-function keys, when <Fn> key is pressed. See, --fnlock.
Support for conguring the behavior of the dual-function keys (<F1><F12>), when <Fn> key is pressed and when the <Fn>
key is not pressed. See, --fnlockmode.
Support for conguring the internal GPS radio. See, --gpsradio.
Support for conguring the keyboard backlight when the system is running on AC power. See, --keyboardbacklightonacpower.
