1 Clean the Raster Optical Scanner (ROS) Windows by
using the cleaning rod.
NOTE:
• Sometimes this cleaning has to be repeated
several times. If the print quality defect is
improving, repeat the cleaning process.

2 Ensure the light path is not covered.
1 Remove the drum cartridges, and store them in the
dark place.
2 Check the ROS windows, and remove any
obstructions, usually a torn off piece of paper or label.
3 Re-install the drum cartridges.
