8 Introduction
Key Features and Functionalities
Client Configuration
Toolkit 2.0
Dell Client Configuration Toolkit (CCTK) is a packaged
software offering that provides BIOS configuration
capability to Dell client systems such as OptiPlex,
Latitude, and Precision in an operating system present
environment. The configuration of target machine can be
setup using a Graphical User Interface (GUI) or a
Command Line Interface (CLI). CCTK is designed to
run under various operating systems environment
namely-, Microsoft Windows Pre-installation
Environment (Windows PE), Microsoft Windows XP,
Windows Vista, and Windows 7 in an unattended
manner. Starting with CCTK version 2.0, end users can
create a self-contained executable (SCE) package using
CCTK GUI interface for configuring target systems in a
one to many environment. DCIP version 2.0 allows end
users to import custom generated SCE Packages for use
within their deployment task sequence. For more
