Introduction

This document describes the activities that you can perform with Dell Client

Integration Pack for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (DCIP

for ConfigMgr).

What is New in This Release of DCIP for

ConfigMgr

This release of DCIP for ConfigMgr supports the following features:

Feature Description

OMCI Integration This feature enables ConfigMgr to use the features

available on Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation

(OMCI) such as remote management applications,

accessing managed node information, manage client

state, receiving alerts for client events. For more

Dell Warranty

Information Utility

This feature monitors warranty information of all Dell

client computers on your network by collecting the

warranty information of Dell Client computers from the

Dell support website and storing them on the ConfigMgr.

Intel AMT vPro OOB

Management

This is an Out-of-band (OOB) management feature using

Intel AMT. It is supported through a standalone

application running on the SCCM server. This feature

provides the core functionality, to manage client systems

remotely and automatically regardless of the state of the
