Reporting Services of the ConfigMgr
To use the reporting services of ConfigMgr:
1
Install SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
a On the ConfigMgr console, go to Site Database  Site
Management
 (site_name)  Site Settings  Site Systems.
b Right-click on your target system and click New Roles .
c Select Specify a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) for this site
system on the internet
check box and enter your domain name under
it.
d Click Next .
e Under Available roles: , select the Reporting point check box and click
Next .
f Under Report folder: , enter your reporting folder name and click Next .
g On the Summary tab click Next .
h The New Role Wizard Completed Successfully screen is displayed.
Click
Close .
2 Navigate to reports using http://<servername>/reports.
3 Import RDL Template provided with the plug-in. Provide a suitable name
to the report.
4 Assuming you have ran the Warranty Service on your ConfigMgr, the
DellWarrantyInformation table is created on the ConfigMgr database.
5 When you run the reports the Custom Reports provided by Dell are
generated.
Viewing Reports Using Report Builder
To view reports using report builder:
1
Download SQL Server Report Builder version 2.0 or higher.
2 Open the report using this installed Report Builder and Run the report to
view the data.
