template.
Creating a Custom Task Sequence
To create a custom task sequence:

Launch ConfigMgr by clicking
Start
Microsoft System Center
Configuration Manager 2007
Configuration Manager Console

On the ConfigMgr console, go to
Site Database
Computer
Management
Operating System Deployment
.

Right click
Tas k Se que nce s
, then
New
ask Sequence
.
The
New Task Sequence Wizard
is displayed.

Select
Create a new custom task sequence
and click
Next
.

Enter task sequence name and comments for the task sequence.

Browse for the boot image under
Dell Deployment
, select the appropriate
boot image
<Dell Deployment Boot Image>
, and click
Finish
.

A screen with the task sequence is displayed. Click
Next
.

A confirmation message is displayed. You have created a new custom task
sequence. Click
Close
.
Editing a Task Sequence
To edit a task sequence:

Launch ConfigMgr by clicking
Start

Configuration Manager 2007
Configuration Manager Console

screen is displayed.
