Using DCIP
Before you begin using DCIP for ConfigMgr, ensure that the target Dell
client systems are auto-discovered and present under All Systems on the
ConfigMgr console. For more information on auto-discover through
ConfigMgr, see the Microsoft TechNet article at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc507089.aspx.
You can use DCIP for ConfigMgr to perform the following tasks:
• Create Dell Windows PE boot image
• Create Dell client driver packages
• Import Dell client packages
• Create a task sequence
• Reboot to PXE or USB custom action

To create a Dell Windows PE boot image:
1
Go to support.dell.com  Drivers & Downloads .
2 Select your product, which should ideally be the client system you are
targeting.
3 Select your operating system.
4 In the Category field, select Systems Management .
5 Click Download against Driver Pack for Microsoft Windows
Preinstallation Environment (WinPE)
option.
