Linux
Prerequisites
• The CCTK installation file, cctk-linux-versionbuildnum.tar.gz
• RPMs provided in the CCTK installation file
• Log in as root user
Installation
Navigate to the lx64 folder
• If the operating system is RHEL5, then navigate to rhel5 folder
• If the operating system is RHEL6, then navigate to rhel6 folder
• Run the commands in the following order:
RHEL6
• rpm -ivh srvadmin-hapi-7.0.0-4.19.1.el6.x86_64.rpm
• rpm -ivh cctk-linux-2.1.0-<buildnum>.el6.x86_64.rpm
RHEL5
• rpm -ivh srvadmin-hapi-7.0.0-4.19.1.el5.x86_64.rpm
• rpm -ivh cctk-linux-2.1.0-<buildnum>.x86_64.rpm
Upgrading From Previous Versions
• Navigate to the lx32 folder to upgrade in RHEL5 or RHEL6
• To Upgrade from 1.x/2.0/2.0.1 to 2.1, run the commands in the following order:
o rpm -U srvadmin-hapi-7.0.0-4.19.1.el5.i386.rpm
o rpm -U cctk-linux-2.1.0-<buildnum>.i386.rpm
Note: In the future releases, 32-bit rpm upgrade process will be deprecated. To upgrade 64-bit
rpms on systems with 32-bit rpms, uninstall 32-bit rpms and then install 64-bit rpms.

Open Issues and Resolutions
CLI
Issue 1:
Description: Currently, the --enabledevice and --disabledevice options may not work in UEFI-enabled
systems.
Resolution: These options will work after upgrading to future BIOS releases.
