Introduction
Dell Client Configuration Toolkit (CCTK) is a packaged software offering
that provides BIOS configuration capability to Dell business client platforms
(OptiPlex, Latitude, and Precision). You can configure the client systems in
two ways: using Graphical User Interface (GUI) or using Command Line
Interface (CLI). This guide provides the installation instructions for CCTK.
Prerequisites for Installing
The prerequisites are given in Table 1-1.

Systems Requirements
Windows
• The CCTK installation file,
DELL_CCTK_version_Xrev/Arev_releaseid.exe
•A Windows workstation
• Administrator privileges on the system where you
are installing CCTK
• Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1
NOTE: On Windows Vista or later operating systems,
ensure that the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
checkbox is selected in the Turn Windows features on
or off screen, for CCTK GUI to function successfully.
Linux
• The CCTK installation file, cctk-linux-version-
buildnum.tar.gz
• A Linux workstation
• RPMs provided in the CCTK installation file
• Log in as root user
