Installation

Prerequisites
• For Windows System
o The CCTK installation file, DELL_CCTK_version_Xrev/Arev_releaseid.exe.
o Administrator privileges on the system where you are installing CCTK.
o Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1 to install the GUI.
Note: On Windows Vista or later operating systems, ensure that the Microsoft .NET
Framework 3.5.1 checkbox is selected in the Turn Windows features on or off screen, for
CCTK GUI to function successfully.
• For Linux System
o The CCTK installation file, cctk-linux-versionbuildnum.tar.gz
o RPMs provided in the CCTK installation file
o Log in as root user

Upgrade
• Upgrade from CCTK versions 1.2.1 and 1.1 to CCTK 2.0 is supported on all operating systems.
• To upgrade CCTK 1.2 to 2.0, uninstall 1.2 and then install 2.0.
