Troubleshooting
This section provides troubleshooting steps for typical issues.
The Dell™ PowerEdge™ System Does Not Boot Into Citrix
®
XenServer™ Dell™
Edition
Symptoms
The Citrix XenServer Dell Edition software does not boot.
You receive a
No OS found
message at start up.
Resolution
Check the boot order—The internal flash storage device may no longer be
selected as the first boot device. This can happen if the device has recently
been removed due to failure. To correct this:

Turn on the system. Press <F2> when prompted in the upper right corner
of the screen.

In the
Setup
menu, scroll down to
Boot Sequence
and
press <Enter>.

Make sure
Hard drive c:
is selected, and then press <Enter>.

Scroll down to
Hard-Disk Drive Sequence
, and then press <Enter>.

Select
Internal USB
or
SD Card
, and then use the left- and right-arrow
keys to select the first device in the list.

Press <Esc> twice, save your settings, and then reboot the system.
