FlexAddress and FlexAddress Plus Comparison
FlexAddress has 208 addresses divided into 16 server slots, thus each slot is allocated with 13 MACs.
FlexAddress Plus has 2928 addresses divided into 16 server slots, thus each slot is allocated with 183 MACs.
The following table shows the provision of the MAC addresses in both the features.

Activating FlexAddress
FlexAddress is delivered on a Secure Digital (SD) card that must be inserted into CMC to activate the feature. To activate the
FlexAddress feature, software updates may be required; if you are not activating FlexAddress these updates are not required. The
updates (listed in the following table) include server module BIOS, I/O mezzanine BIOS or rmware, and CMC rmware. Apply these
updates before you enable FlexAddress. If these updates are not applied, the FlexAddress feature may not function as expected.
