cfgChassisPowerCap (Read or Write)
Description
Indicates the maximum power consumption limit (in watts) for the entire chassis. The command generates
an error if server throttling is necessary to achieve the power goal based on the value for this setting.
Legal Values
2715–16685 watts
Default
16685 watts
cfgChassisPowerCapF (Read or Write)
Description
Indicates the maximum power consumption limit (in watts) for the entire chassis. Use
cfgChassisPowerCapF when power consumption changes regardless of whether server throttling is
required. This command generates an error if the value for this setting is lower than the minimum power
required for the chassis configuration.
Legal Values
271–16685 watts
Default
16685 watts
cfgChassisPowerCapBTU (Read or Write)
Description
Indicates the maximum power consumption limit (in BTU/hr) for the entire chassis. The command
generates an error if server throttling is necessary to achieve the power goal based on the value for
this setting.
Legal Values
9264–56931 BTU/hr
Default
43221 BTU/hr
cfgChassisPowerCapFBTU (Read or Write)
Description
Indicates the maximum power consumption limit (in BTU/hr) for the entire chassis. Use
cfgChassisCapFBTU when power consumption changes regardless of whether server throttling is
required. The command generates an error if the value for this setting is lower than the minimum power
required for the chassis configuration.
Legal Values
9264–56931 BTU/hr
Default
56931 BTU/hr
cfgChassisPowerCapPercent (Read or Write)
Description
Indicates the power consumption limit as a percentage. The percentage is computed mathematically as the
minimum power + (percent * (maximum power — minimum power)). The command generates an error if
server throttling is necessary to achieve the power goal based on the value for this setting.
Legal Values
16–100
NOTE: If the specified percent is lower than the minimum value, the CMC sets the value to the
minimum value.
