Solución de problemas de red
El registro de rastreo interno de la CMC le permite depurar el sistema de red y las alertas de la CMC. Puede acceder al registro de rastreo
mediante la interfaz web de la CMC o RACADM. Consulte la sección del comando gettracelog en Chassis Management Controller for

El registro de rastreo da seguimiento a la siguiente información:
• DHCP: rastrea los paquetes que se envían a un servidor DHCP y que se reciben de él.
• DDNS: rastrea solicitudes y respuestas de actualización de DNS dinámico.
• Cambios de conguración en las interfaces de red.
El registro de rastreo también puede contener códigos de error especícos del rmware del CMC que están relacionados con el rmware
interno del CMC, no con el sistema operativo del sistema administrado.
Resetting Administrator Password

Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
To perform management actions, a user with Administrator privileges is required. The CMC software has a user account password
protection security feature that may be disabled if the administrator account password is forgotten. If the administrator account password
is forgotten, it can be recovered using the PASSWORD_RSET jumper on the CMC board.
The CMC board has a two-pin password reset connector as shown in the following gure. If a jumper is installed in the reset connector, the
default administrator account and password is enabled and set to the default values of username: root and password: calvin.
The administrator account is reset regardless if the account has been removed, or if the password was changed.
NOTE
: Make sure the CMC module is in a passive state before you begin.

The PASSWORD_RST jumper uses a two-pin connector as shown in the following gure.
While the PASSWORD_RST jumper is installed, the default administrator account and password is enabled and set to the following default
values:
username: root
password: calvin
The administrator account is temporarily reset regardless if the administrator account was removed, or if the password was changed.

: When the PASSWORD_RST jumper is installed, a default serial console conguration is used (rather than conguration
property values), as follows:
