NOTE: The server must be turned o to change the slot state. All servers must be turned o to
change the fabric state. The MAC/WWN addresses must be managed locally (not by an external
console) to run this command.
Synopsis
racadm setflexaddr -i <slotNum> 0|1
racadm setflexaddr -f <fabricName> 0|1
Input
-i <slotNum> — Enables or disables FlexAddress for the specied slot.
-f <fabricName> — Enables or disables FlexAddress for the specied fabric.
<slotNum>= 1–16
<fabricName>= A, B, C, iDRAC
0 : Disable
1 : Enable
Example
Disable exaddress for slot 2.
racadm setflexaddr -i 2 0
Enable exaddress for fabric A.
racadm setflexaddr -f A 1
Disable exaddress for fabric B.
racadm setflexaddr -f b 0
Disable exaddress for fabric iDRAC.
racadm setflexaddr -f idrac 0

Description
Sets the state (blinking or not blinking) of the LED on the specied module.
To blink or unblink the chassis, I/O modules or the CMC, you must have the Debug Administrator privilege. To
enable the servers to blink or unblink, you must have the Server Administrator or the Debug Administrator
privilege.
Synopsis
racadm setled -m <module> -l <ledState>
Input
-m <module>Species the module whose LED you want to congure.
<module> can be one of the following:
server–<n>, where n=1–16
server–<nx>, where n=1–8; x = a, b, c, d (lower case)
switch–<n>, where n=1–6
cmc-active
chassis
-l <ledState>Species the LED state. The values are:
0 — No Blinking
1 — Blinking
Example
racadm setled -m chassis -l 1
Sets LED state on Chassis to Blink
racadm setled -m server-1 -1 1
LED state was set successfully.
