Introduction
This document provides information about the RACADM subcommands, supported RACADM interfaces, and property
database groups and object definitions for the following:
• iDRAC Enterprise or Express for Blade Servers
• iDRAC Enterprise or Express on Rack and Tower Servers
• Dell Chassis System (CMC)
NOTE: In this version of RACADM, the Linux shell features such as ctrl+d, home, del, and end shortcut keys are not
supported.

• For iDRAC7 version 1.30.30
– Manage NIC and BIOS objects using the get and set subcommands.
– Create configuration and reboot jobs using the jobqueue subcommand.
– Update device firmware for all devices supported by Lifecycle Controller using update subcommand.
– Backup and Restore System configuration using the systemconfig subcommand.
– Import and export configuration XML file using the set and get subcommands.
– Display or export hardware inventory using the hwinventory subcommand.
– Enhanced RACADM shell with autocomplete and CD based groups and objects navigation.
– Enable iDRAC7 to send SNMP traps in V1, V2, and V3 format or only in V3 format using the iDRAC.SNMP
group.
– Improved security features such as default credential warning and alerts for the user logging.
– Automatically lock the operating system using objects in the iDRAC.AutoOSLock group.
– Configure the iDRAC NIC using objects in the iDRAC.NIC group.
– Configure the properties of NTP server using objects in the iDRAC.NTPConfigGroup group.
– Manage the OS to iDRAC pass-through feature using objects in the iDRAC.OS-BMC group.
– Manage Custom Signing SSL signing certificate from iDRAC using the sslcertdownload, sslcertupload,
sslcertview, and sslcertdelete subcommands.
– Boot to Lifecycle Controller and UEFI using objects in the cfgServerInfo group.
– View CPU details such as processor automatic throttling and predictive failure information using the
getsensorInfo subcommand.
– View health and state information for Dual In-line Memory Modules (DIMMs) using the getsensorInfo
subcommand.

– Support to configure Dell EqualLogic PS-M4110 Blade Array.
– Reset iDRAC without rebooting blade server from CMC.
