Using RACADM
Open a serial/Telnet/SSH text console to the CMC with Chassis
Configuration Administrator privileges.
To enable remote power management by PM3, type:
Racadm config -g cfgChassisPower -o
cfgChassisServerBasedPowerMgmtMode 1
To restore CMC power management, type:
Racadm config -g cfgChassisPower -o
cfgChassisServerBasedPowerMgmtMode 0
When PM3 management of power is disabled, the CMC reverts to the server
priority settings before the external management was enabled.
NOTE: When PM3 management is disabled the CMC does not revert to the earlier
setting of the maximum power. See the CMC log for the earlier setting in order to
manually restore the value.
