iKVM
Avocent
®
Integrated KVM Switch Module, an optional, hot-pluggable module
to the chassis providing local access to keyboard, mouse, and video to any of the
16 servers in the chassis, as well as the additional Dell CMC Console option that
connects to the chassis’ active CMC.
IOMINF
I/O module infrastructure device.
IP
Internet Protocol. IP is the network layer for TCP/IP. IP provides packet routing,
fragmentation, and reassembly.
IPMB
Intelligent platform management bus, which is used in systems management
technology.
IPv6
Internet Protocol version 6. IPv6 is the next generation network layer for TCP/IP.
