Example
• racadm fwupdate -g -u -a 192.168.0.100 -d
firmimg.cmc -m cmc-active
TFTP firmware update has been initiated. This
update process may take several minutes to
complete.
• racadm fwupdate -g -u -a 192.168.0.100 -d
firmimg.cmc -m server-iDRAC6
TFTP firmware update has been initiated. This
update process may take several minutes to
complete.
• racadm fwupdate -g -u -a 192.168.0.100 -d
firmimg.cmc -m server-iDRAC
TFTP firmware update has been initiated. This
update process may take several minutes to
complete.
• racadm fwupdate -s -m cmc-active
Firmware update in progress.
NOTE: The fwupdate command generates an error when used on the
extension slot of a multi-slot server.
• racadm fwupdate -g -u -a 192.168.0.100 -d update
-m server-9
ERROR: Server in slot 9 is an extension of the
server in slot 1.
getassettag
NOTE: To use this subcommand, you must have CMC Login User privilege.
Description
Displays the asset tag for the chassis.

racadm getassettag [-m <module>]
