getcong
Description Retrieves CMC conguration parameters individually, or all CMC conguration groups may be
retrieved and saved to a le.
Synopsis
• racadm getcong -f <lename>
• racadm getcong -g <groupName> [-i <index>]
• racadm getcong -u <username>
• racadm getcong -h
• racadm getcong -g <groupName> -o <objectName> [-i index]
Input
• -f — The -f <lename> option directs getcong to write the entire CMC conguration to a
conguration le. This le can be used for batch conguration operations using the cong
subcommand.
• -g — The -g <groupName>, or group option, can be used to display the conguration for a
single group. The groupName is the name for the group used in the racadm.cfg les. If the
group is an indexed group, use the -i option.
• -h — The -h, or help option, displays a list of all available conguration groups in alphabetical
order. This option is useful when you do not have exact group names.
• -i — The -i <index>, or index option, is valid only for indexed groups and can be used to
specify a unique group. The <index>is a decimal integer from 1 through n, where n can vary
from 1 to maximum number of indexes a particular group supports. If -i <index> is not
specied, a value of 1 is assumed for groups, which are tables that have multiple entries. The
index is specied by the index value, not a named value.
• -m — Indicates the module on which you want to carry out the action. The —m or
<module> displays the following information for a particular server, group of servers,
individual storage, or storage groups:
– session
– WEB/SSH/Telnet
– remote system log
– storage mode
– service tag
– asset tag
The <module> must have one of the following values:
