RACADM Syntax Usage
The following section describes the syntax usage for SSH/Telnet and Remote RACADM.
SSH or Telnet RACADM
• racadm getconfig -g <groupname> [-o <objectname>][-i <indexnumber>]
• racadm <subcommand>
Example
• racadm getconfig -g idracinfo
• racadm getsysinfo
Remote RACADM
racadm -r <racIpAddr> -u <username> -p <password> getconfig -g <groupname> [-o
<objectname>] [-i <indexnumber>]
racadm -r <racIpAddr> -u <username> -p <password> <subcommand>
Example
racadm -r <racIpAddr> -u myuser -p mypass getconfig -g idracinfo
racadm -r <racIpAddr> -u myuser -p mypass getsysinfo
RACADM Command Options
The following table lists the options for the RACADM command.
Option
Description
-r <racIpAddr>
Species the controller’s remote IP address.
-u <usrName> Species the user name that is used to authenticate the
command transaction. If the -u option is used, the -p option
must be used, and the -i option is not allowed.
-p <password> Species the password used to authenticate the command
transaction. If the -p option is used, the -i option is not allowed.
-S Species that RACADM should check for invalid certicate
errors. RACADM stops the execution of the command with an
error message if it detects an invalid certicate.
-i <indexnumber> Species the index number for the indexed group, if applicable.
-g <groupname> Species the group name, if applicable.
-o objectname Species the object name, if applicable.
