Options
Table A-8 describes the fwupdate subcommand options.
NOTE: Wait for the file to finish transferring from the TFTP server before you check
the status of the update.
Example
racadm fwupdate -g -u -a 192.168.0.120 -d
firmimg.cmc -m cmc-active
Table A-8. fwupdate Subcommand Options
Option Description
-d <path> Specifies the source path where the firmware image resides.
Default: local directory on CMC if '-g' option is absent. If '-g' is
used, defaults to directory configured on the TFTP server
-g Downloads the firmware update using the TFTP server.
-u Performs firmware update operation (used with -g).
-a <IP address> Specifies the TFTP server IP address used for the firmware image
(used with -g).
-m <module> Specifies the module to be updated. <module> is one of the
following values:
cmc-active
(default)
cmc-standby
kvm
server-
n
where
n
= 1–16
-s Displays the current status of the firmware update.
