Reference Guide
rate Enter the outgoing rate in multiples of 10 Mbps. The range is
from 0 to 40000.
burst-KB (OPTIONAL) Enter the burst size in KB. The range is from 0
to 10000. The default is 50.
Defaults Granularity for rate is Mbps unless you use the kbps option.

Usage Information If traffic is shaped between 64 and 1000 Kbs, for some values, the shaped rate is
much less than the value configured.

Policy-Based QoS Commands
Policy-based traffic classification is handled with class maps. These maps classify unicast traffic into one
of four classes. The system allows you to match multiple class maps and specify multiple match criteria.
Policy-based QoS is not supported on logical interfaces, such as port-channels, VLANs, or loopbacks.
