To disable the ARP refresh feature, use the no mac-address-table station-move refresh-
arp command.
Use this command in Configuration Terminal Batch mode to refresh the egress interface in a dual-homing
setup.
mac-address-table station-move threshold
Specify the threshold and time interval for the maximum number of station moves on PE ports. When the number of station
moves for a specified MAC address exceeds the configured threshold in the configured time, a loop is detected on PE ports.
The loop is prevented by bringing down the line protocol on all active ports in the learned path, except for the port with the
lowest interface index (ifIndex).
C9000 Series
Syntax
[no] mac-address-table station-move threshold number interval seconds
Parameters
threshold
number
Enter the keyword threshold with the maximum number of times a MAC-
address station move is detected within the configured interval. The range is from
5 to 50.
interval
seconds
Enter the keyword interval with the interval (in seconds). The range is from 1 to
60.
Defaults Not configured.

Usage
Information
As xSTP protocols are not supported on PEs, use this command to detect possible loops on PE ports.
Use this command in Configuration Terminal Batch mode to detect the possible loops in a dual-homing
setup.
