To remove the flash memory card:
Formatting the Compact Flash Card
New Compact Flash cards must be formatted in the C7008/C300 before use.
Flash cards used on systems other than the C7008/C300 as well as cards formatted on PCs must be
reformatted in the C7008/C300 flash slot before they can be used. Formatting erases all information
stored on the flash card.
To format the Compact Flash card:
Dell Networking supports up to a 40-character file name length, up to a 180-character local file path
length, and up to a 256-character remote file path length.
Step Task
1 Make sure that the In Use LED is not lit, and gently depress the flash card in the slot. The card should partially
eject out of the slot.
2 Remove the card, and place it in an antistatic bag.
