Usage
Information
Use the ip as-path access-list command syntax in the CONFIGURATION mode to enter the AS-PATH
ACL mode and configure AS-PATH filters to deny or permit BGP routes based on information in their
AS-PATH attribute.

Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} local-as as-number [no-prepend]
To return to the default value, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} local-as
command.

Information
If a local-as is configured, BGP does not allow for the configuration of BGP confederation. Similarly,
if BGP confederation is configured, then BGP does not allow the configuration of local-as.
This command automatically restarts the neighbor session for the configuration to take effect.

no prepend Specifies that local AS values are not prepended to announcements from the
neighbor.
