default-information originate
Generate a default route for the RIP traffic.
C9000 Series
Syntax
default-information originate [always] [metric metric-value]
[route-map map-name]
To return to the default values, use the no default-information originate
command.
Parameters
always (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword always to enable the
switch software to always advertise the default route.
metric metric-
value
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword metric then a number as
the metric value. The range is from 1 to 16. The default is 1.
route-map map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords route-map then the name
of a configured route-map.
Defaults Disabled. Metric: 1.
