Power supply removal and replacement

• At the command prompt, enter the psShow command to display power supply status:
br6520:admin> psshow
Power Supply #1 is OK
Airflow Direction : Portside Intake (Forward)
Power Supply #2 is OK
Airflow Direction : Portside Intake (Forward)

DANGER
Disconnect the power cords from all power sources to completely remove power from the
chassis.
Time and items required
Replacing a power supply in the Brocade 6520 should require less than two minutes to complete.
To replace a power supply in a Brocade 6520 you need a new power supply that has the same part
number and airflow indicator as the power supply being replaced. Refer to Figure 8 for the location
of the airflow label.
