APEX Data Storage Services is an on-premises as-a-Service portfolio of scalable and elastic storage resources.
The underlying infrastructure is selected to match your storage needs, which include the data service type (block or file),
performance requirements, and capacity. You pay only for the storage capacity that is used, leaving the system service and
maintenance to Dell Technologies Services. In addition, the offer includes on-demand capacity that you pay for only if you use it.
Dell Technologies Services installs the hardware on site and ensures that all systems are up and running.

Collaboration between Dell Technologies sales and services teams and your IT architects and other IT staff ensures a successful
implementation of your APEX Data Storage Services offer.
Engage the following team members from your staff to assist with the planning of your deployment:

Based on hardware availability on common underlying platform configurations. Actual hardware availability may vary.

Billing consists of a monthly base capacity charge and on-demand usage charge. Customer is billed for the entire base
capacity whether that entire base capacity is used or not. Customer is only billed for the average TBs used over each
hour over the month. The bill rate in $/TB/Hr is the same for the base capacity and on-demand usage, but varies by
configuration.

Time to Value is measured between order acceptance and activation. Subject to customer credit approval and site
qualification, which must be completed before order placement, and customer participation in pre-deployment planning.
