APEX Data Storage Services Roles and Responsibilities
This section describes the roles and responsibilities for the features and functions of the APEX Data Storage Services offer. For
the most current information for your offer, see the Roles and Responsibilities (RACI) APEX Data Storage Services document
that is provided with your service agreement.
NOTE: This information is for reference only, it does not supersede the provisions in the Terms and Offer Description for
your purchased services.
The roles and responsibilities tables use the following abbreviations:
● R—Responsible: The party who owns and performs the task, function, or deliverable described.
● A—Accountable: The person who is ultimately answerable for the activity or decision and approves or signs-off on work
before it takes effect.
● C—Consulted: The party who reviews output or progress necessary to complete the task, function, or deliverable before a
final decision is made or action is taken. When a provider is consulted, they may charge the customer on a time and materials
basis for the resources that are used to consult.
● I—Informed: The party who is notified of results, completion, or deliverable after the action is taken.
APEX Data Storage Services deployment
Deployment and decommissioning roles are the same whether the offer is block storage or file storage. For assistance with
deployment, contact your account representative. For assistance with decommissioning, click Get Service on the offer
subscription page.
