Removing the display hinges

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the wireless card.
3 Remove the display assembly.
4 Remove the display bezel.
Procedure
NOTE: Ensure that the display assembly is placed on a clean and at surface.
1 Remove the ten screws (M2.5x4.5) that secure the display hinges to the display assembly.
2 Remove the plastic hinge cover from the left and right hinges along with the display cable.
3 Lift the display hinges from the display assembly.
