Steps
1. Replace the right power-adapter port.
NOTE: Ensure that the right power-adapter port is already installed to the system board. The right power-adapter port
is located underneath the system board, and no longer accessible once system board has been installed to the palm-rest
assembly.
2. Turn the system board over and place it into the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
NOTE: Do not keep the power-button board cable under the system board.
3. Replace the four screws (M2.5x5) that secure the system board to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.
5. Connect the SD card reader cable to the system board.
6. Connect the keyboard-controller cable to the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
7. Connect the touchpad cable to the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
8. Connect the audio daughter-board cable to the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
9. Turn the palm-rest assembly over.
10.Connect the power-button board cable to the system board.

processor.
2. Install the
graphics card.
3. Install the left power-adapter port.
4. Install the heat-sink assembly.
5. Install the computer base.
6. Install the rear-I/O cover.
7. Install the
solid-state drive interposer board, if applicable.
8. Install the solid-state drive in M.2 slot four, if applicable.
9. Install the solid-state drive in M.2 slot three, if applicable.
10.Follow the procedure from step 5 to step 8 in Installing the hard drive, if applicable.
11. Install the
solid-state drive in M.2 slot two.
12. Install the solid-state drive in M.2 slot one.
13. Install the wireless card.
14. Install the memory modules.
15.Install the battery.
16.Install the
base cover.
17. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

Removing the right power-adapter port
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the memory modules.
5. Remove the wireless card.
6. Remove the solid-state drive from M.2 slot one.
7. Remove the solid-state drive from M.2 slot two.
8. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 4 in Removing the hard drive, if applicable.
9. Remove the
solid-state drive from M.2 slot three, if applicable.
10.Remove the solid-state drive from M.2 slot four, if applicable.
11. Remove the solid-state drive interposer board, if applicable.
12. Remove the rear-I/O cover.
