Panoramica sul BIOS
Il BIOS gestisce il flusso di dati tra il sistema operativo del computer e i dispositivi collegati, come disco rigido, scheda video, tastiera,
mouse e stampante.
Accesso al programma di installazione del BIOS
1. Accendere o riavviare il computer.
2. Per accedere al programma di installazione del BIOS, premere F2 quando viene visualizzato il logo DELL sullo schermo.
È possibile modificare le impostazioni definibili dall'utente nel programma di installazione del BIOS.
Tempistica delle sequenze di tasti
La tastiera non è il primo dispositivo inizializzato dal programma d'impostazione del BIOS. Di conseguenza, qualora si prema un tasto
ante tempo, la tastiera potrebbe risultare bloccata. In tal caso, verrà visualizzato sullo schermo un messaggio di errore della tastiera e
non sarà possibile riavviare il computer con la combinazione di tasti Ctrl+Alt+Canc.
Per evitare il blocco della tastiera, attendere fino al completamento dell'inizializzazione della tastiera. La tastiera è inizializzata se si
verifica una delle seguenti situazioni:
• Le spie della tastiera lampeggiano.
• Il prompt "F2=Setup" appare nell'angolo in alto a destra della schermata durante l'avvio.

System Date Displays the current date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
BIOS Version Displays the BIOS version.
Product Name Displays the model number of your computer.
Service Tag Displays the service tag of your computer.
Asset Tag Displays the asset tag of your computer.
CPU Type Displays the processor type.
CPU Speed Displays the processor speed.
CPU ID Displays the processor identification code.
CPU L1 Cache Displays the processor L1 cache size.
CPU L2 Cache Displays the processor L2 cache size.
CPU L3 Cache Displays the processor L3 cache size.
Integrated Graphics Displays the integrated graphics.
Discrete Graphics 1 Displays the first discrete graphics installed on your computer.
First HDD Displays the type of hard drive installed.
Second HDD Displays the type of secondary hard-drive installed.
Third HDD Displays the type of third hard-drive installed.
Fourth HDD Displays the type of fourth hard-drive installed.
M.2 PCIe SSD-1 Displays the type of primary SSD installed.
M.2 PCIe SSD-2 Displays the type of secondary SSD installed.
