Oversigt over BIOS

BIOS styrer datastrømmen mellem computerens operativsystem og de tilsluttede enheder, så som harddisk, videoadapter, tastatur,

mus og printer.

Sådan åbnes BIOS-installationsprogrammet

1. Tænd for, eller genstart computeren.

2. Tryk på F2 når DELL-logoet vises på skærmen, for at åbne BIOS-installationsprogrammet.

Du kan ændre de brugerdefinerede indstillinger i BIOS-installationsprogrammet.

Sådan tidsindstilles tastesekvenser

Tastaturet er ikke den første enhed der initialiseres ved BIOS-opstartprogrammet. Som følge heraf vil tastaturet låses, hvis du trykker

på en tastaturtast for tidligt. I dette tilfælde vil der vises en tastaturfejlmeddelelse på skærmen, og du kan ikke genstarte din

computer med Ctrl+Alt+Del-tastekombinationen.

For at undgå at tastaturet låses, skal du vente til tastaturet er helt initialiseret. Tastaturet er initialiseret hvis et af følgende optræder:

• Tastaturindikatoren blinker.

• Prompten "F2=Setup" vises i skærmens øverste højre hjørne under opstart.

System Time Displays the current time in hh:mm:ss format.

System Date Displays the current date in mm/dd/yyyy format.

BIOS Version Displays the BIOS version.

Product Name Displays the model number of your computer.

Service Tag Displays the service tag of your computer.

Asset Tag Displays the asset tag of your computer.

CPU Type Displays the processor type.

CPU Speed Displays the processor speed.

CPU ID Displays the processor identification code.

CPU L1 Cache Displays the processor L1 cache size.

CPU L2 Cache Displays the processor L2 cache size.

CPU L3 Cache Displays the processor L3 cache size.

Integrated Graphics Displays the integrated graphics.

Discrete Graphics 1 Displays the first discrete graphics installed on your computer.

First HDD Displays the type of hard drive installed.

Second HDD Displays the type of secondary hard-drive installed.

Third HDD Displays the type of third hard-drive installed.

Fourth HDD Displays the type of fourth hard-drive installed.

M.2 PCIe SSD-1 Displays the type of primary SSD installed.

M.2 PCIe SSD-2 Displays the type of secondary SSD installed.
