Removing the processor fan

Prerequisites

1 Remove the base panel.

2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 9 in “Removing the palm rest”.

Procedure

1 Close the display and turn the computer over.

2 Disconnect the processor-fan cable from the system board.

3 Turn the computer over and open the display.
